Learn to Play Tennis in Wimbledon!

With the hallowed lawns of the AELTC just round the corner, you can learn to play tennis and meet tennis partners via the Wimbledon Park Tennis Academy. We have classes for all ages and levels of play and a range of options for classes this summer!

Welcome Tennis Players!

The Wimbledon Park Tennis Academy (WPTA) was founded in 2018 and is one of the best community tennis coaching providers in the Wimbledon area. Our coaching offers players of all ages and standards a chance to get on court with highly regarded, LTA accredited coaches and learn how to understand and improve at the game.


Our latest programs now offer adults and junior the chance to play away from Wimbledon Park due to the changes in community tennis management in the local area. Our program of classes will be run from 2025 in collaboration with Metrotennis - a high quality tennis services provider working across the Wimbledon and Southfields areas.


Our program for this season will offer weekly classes for development players, performance squad players, holiday camps and events at various locations across the SW London area. Feel free to get in touch, make a booking and get you game in shape for the season ahead!

Get on court & play in Wimbledon!

The most historic and iconic tennis venue of them all!

You cant play on centre court (no one can to be fair!) but you can play at venues withing touching distance of the famous lawns of SW19.

WEEKLY LESSONS

Choose a class to attend every week, or simply make a booking for some private lessons. How you want to practice is up to you but we aim to make sure you have the right information to make the most of your time on court.

TENNIS HOLIDAY CAMPS

Get on court during the school holidays with our specialist tennis camps in the Wimbledon area. We have several weeks and different venues to choose from so please take a look via our dedicated pages to choose your preferred package.

Welcome to my Wimbledon coaching website!

As a tennis professional of over 25 years, its been my pleasure to help thousands of players get on court and enjoy the challenge of learning, playing and competing at tennis!

My services in Wimbledon stretch back almost as long as I have been coaching! I first started with the AELTC and helping kick start the WJTI tennis program. Some of those young players are now coaches themselves.


If you are based in Wimbledon or Southfields and are keen to take lessons, please get in touch and I can help you get started. I now work in collaboration with Metrotennis and have a team of coaches and a wide program of classes to offer players in the local area. Simply get in touch and we can advise you on the best route to get you on court and starting to work on your game!
