Wimbledon Park Tennis Academy - Safe Play Guidelines

If you have booked a tennis lesson or are just intending to go to Wimbledon Park to play tennis in the next few days and weeks, please read through our guidelines for safe play to ensure that you enjoy your tennis but stay safe and alert at the same time.

Thanks for reading and being a responsible user of the courts at the Wimbledon Park Tennis Academy!

WPTA Guidelines For Tennis & On Court Hygiene

If you are taking part in any tennis lessons with Live Love Sport coaches, please make sure you adhere to the following rules:

  • Go to the toilet and wash your hands before getting to the courts - there are no public toilets open at the park
  • When you arrive, let the coach open the gate for you. The entry gates might have been used by other players.
  • Bring water with you - there wont be anywhere to get a drink (same goes for snacks)
  • Coaches are not allowed to lend any equipment to players for their use.
  • For any match play practice, coaches will use new balls which will be given to players at the end of the class to keep. They can then be reused by the same players each lesson.

Hopefully we can extend these services to include shared lessons for families, friends or in small groups in due course.
