More About WPTA

The WImbledon Park Tennis Academy is owned and managed by Live Love Sport Ltd. Founder and Director of Coaching, Steve Cockell has been a tennis professional in SW London for 25 years. Steve is a Level 4 accredited + tennis coach and has been responsible for programs at many different locations in his career including working at the AELTC, The Roehampton Club and the National Tennis Centre.


Our philosophy in tennis coaching is PLAY. IMPROVE. ENJOY and we have helped many players across different ages and standards, develop their tennis skills on court. We hope you might be our next pupil and look forward to helping you on your own tennis journey!

Adult Group Coaching

Are you looking to work on your game every week with other like minded tennis players? WPTA has a really thriving adult tennis section and we have classes for all types of players. We can offer 6 week Tennis Express courses for beginners, through to weekly classes and pay & play lessons for intermediate and advanced players as well.

JOIN THE SQUAD

WPTA runs performance tennis classes for players who are serious about learning how to play competitive tennis and are looking to be part of a team or play in tennis events locally and higher. We are always happy to meet and assess new players so why not get in touch and arrange a time to chat about the program and whether your child might suit what we offer.
